Mann Ki Baat: PM Modi thanks people for 'spirit of unity' after Ayodhya verdict

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the 130 crore people of India for the manner in which the "spirit of unity and brotherhood" was furthered after the Supreme Court verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi case.


PM Modi was addressing the 59th edition of his monthly radio programme ' Mann Ki Baat '.

He conveyed his greetings to all the cadets on the NCC Day and held a special interaction with few youngsters also during his 'Mann Ki Baat' programme.

The PM while interacting with the NCC cadets urged everyone who like nature to visit the northeast region of the country.

During the 'Mann Ki Baat', the PM talked about the significance of Armed Forces Flag Day . Modi paid tributes to the valour of the armed forces and at the same time appealed the people of India to contribute towards the well-being and the welfare of the armed forces personnel.

Highlighting an CBSE's initiative to promote fitness among youngsters, PM Modi urged schools to follow a 'Fit India' week in the month of December.

The PM also announced that based on feedback, the 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' programme will be held in January now. "The feedback received after the last Town Hall Programme and from Exam Warriors book has been very valuable," said Modi.

Earlier this month, the Prime Minister had asked the people to share their inputs for the programme.

In the last edition of the programme on October 27, the Prime Minister spoke on various issues like urging people to buy local products and the idea of festival tourism on 'Mann Ki Baat
