The telecom market has suffered heavy losses due to cheap prepaid and postpaid plans. To make up for this loss, telecom companies like Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vodafone-Idea and BSNL are going to increase the price of their recharge packs from December 1. This move of companies is going to loosen the pockets of customers, so let's know which plan is best for you at the moment.
Usually, when a company increases the price of its plan, the same rule applies to new recharges, as happened recently on Jio's IUC recharge that those who had previously recharged have not had to recharge the IUC. In such a situation, it would be better for you that if you recharge before December 1, then you may get benefit.
Today we will tell you about a few selected plans of Jio, Airtel and Vodafone, which will provide unlimited data and calling facility. So let's know about these plans .
You can recharge Jio's Rs 399 prepaid plan as soon as possible, as the price of this plan can increase from December 1. You will get 1.5 GB data per day (total 126 GB data) in this plan. Also, unlimited calling on Jio-to-Jio and 100 SMS daily will be available.
But you have to pay IUC charge at the rate of 6 paise per minute to call other networks. Explain that you have to pay 10 rupees, after which you will get 124 IUC minutes. At the same time, the validity of this pack is 84 days.
Airtel is offering SMS to its customers with unlimited calls in prepaid plans of Rs 249. With this, users will get 2 GB data per day. At the same time, consumers will be able to call for free on other networks with Jio under this pack. Not only this, users will be given service of Airtel Extreme, G5 and Live TV with this plan. In addition, customers will also get access to the Wink music app. Apart from this, Airtel will also give life insurance of Rs 4 lakh to consumers.
Vodafone has introduced a plan of Rs 229 for its customers. If you adopt this recharge pack, then you will get 2 GB data per day. Along with this, the company will also provide unlimited call and SMS facility to the users. At the same time, the duration of this pack is 28 days.
The cabinet also approved a proposal to defer payment of spectrum installment for two years while giving relief to telecom companies struggling with financial crisis. Giving information about the decision, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, Telecom companies are exempted from spectrum installment payments for two years from 2020-21 and 2021-22. According to sources, the decision of the government will give a relief of Rs 42,000 crore to telecom company Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio.
Recently, the Supreme Court gave a jolt to Vodafone Idea and Airtel. The court had said that these companies will have to pay adjusted gross revenue (AGR), after which the telecom companies have suffered a major setback and after that the companies have announced to increase the tariff plan.
